Scanner Rental Instructions:

1.) Select your requested service.

2.) Input the quantity of scanners to rent.

3.) Select a future date greater than 21 days from today. (To allow for shipping)

4.) Once complete, you will be redirected to DealerTrack's site for payment.

You will have up to 7 days possession of equipment and agree to return all equipment to ScanSolutions on or before the 7th day. A return FedEx label will be enclosed in each box received. Please make note of packaging and return all equipment in the original boxes to avoid any damage. You are responsible for any damages that occur to the equipment during the time of your possession and shipping back to our facility. Late fees will be charged, equivalent to one weeks rental on any equipment not returned within 21 days of the requested date above. Fees will be charged each week thereafter until equipment is returned.


Support fees are for up to and are not to exceed 18 hrs of assistance/monitoring by our PI support technician or extend past three calendar days. A $50hr fee will be invoiced to you for any time over the time allotment. Please note that your support technician will notify you 2 hrs prior end time and a separate authorization form will need to be filled out prior to charges being invoiced to you.


Please note: - Department should be well versed in use of scanner for perpetual inventory / bin checks. The responsible person will need to contact ScanSolutions two days before PI date to setup equipment. These scanners are not intended for any other use other than to conduct the physical inventory scanning operations.


PI support will not be handled through our regular support line during business hours. A highly trained support technician will be assigned to support you and be available to answer questions and/or help address any issues you may have until uploading of the sheets are completed into the DealerTrack DMS.


IN NO EVENT WILL SCAN SOLUTIONS BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH CLIENT MAY INCUR OR EXPERIENCE ON ACCOUNT OF ENTERING INTO OR RELYING ON THIS AGREEMENT AND THE SCHEDULES HERETO, EVEN IF SCAN SOLUTIONS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
